剧情简介
　　影片的故事非常虐心，杰拉尔-德帕迪约和伊莎贝尔-于佩尔扮演一对中年夫妻，他们在六个多月以前刚刚失去儿子。但是，就在他们尚未从悲痛中走出来的时候，一个怪事发生了——儿子在去世之前曾给他们写过一封信，直到现在老两口才收到这封信。更加不可思议的是，儿子在信中邀请他们去一个名叫“死亡谷”的地方，这地方在美国的中部地区。尽管信中的提议完全超出了这对夫妇的心理承受范围，但他们还是决定一起去“死亡谷”走一遭，看一看这件事情背后的真相。
