Blessed with a soaring voice, guitars that groove and rigid backbeat, Lewis unleashes a vivid daydream on par with the Sheerans and LaMontagnes of the world. “Need You Now” is a study of dark desperation (“I don't need your love/I just need you now”). He crushes hearts like a foot through balsa on “Chemicals” and “Let Go”. His cover of Amy Shark’s “Adore” reaches maximum pleasure levels when he states “I’m known as a right-hand slugger/Anybody else want to touch my lover?”
