About Chrishan
Singer and producer Chrishan has a knack for R&B and pop hits. In addition to his solo work, he’s written and produced for artists like Chris Brown, Little Mix, and Gucci Mane.
• Born in Toledo, Christopher “Crishan” Dotson is the son of Chris Dotson, a member of the vocal soul group The Dotsons.
• When he was 10, Crishan moved with his family to Minneapolis. He attended the High School for Recording Arts, established by Prince-affiliated rapper TC Ellis.
• Crishan’s first solo release, 2009’s Night & Day, showcases his poppy blend of R&B and hip-hop.
• He notched his first big single in 2012, cowriting “Wings” for the British girl group Little Mix. The track reached No. 1 in the UK and Ireland.
• While managing his prolific production career, he’s put out several more projects of his own music, including 2019’s Ultraviolet EP with producer OG Parker and the laid-back single “Lovemaking” in 2020.
