剧情简介
　　因为不满工作待遇，达菲鸭（Joe Alaskey 配音）要求离开华纳电影公司，为了保证这个淘气鬼在外面不惹麻烦，公司的副总裁凯特（珍娜·艾夫曼 Jenna Elfman 饰）表面上命令一直郁郁不得志的龙套演员德瑞克（布兰登·费舍 Brendan Fraser 饰）护送达菲鸭，实则是为了监视它的一举一动。
　　德瑞克的父亲达米安（提摩西·道尔顿 Timothy Dalton 饰）失踪已久，其原因要归结到一块拥有强大法力的“神秘之石”上。达菲鸭得知了有关石头的秘密，心中蠢蠢欲动的它说服了德瑞克，两人随即踏上了寻找达米安踪迹的旅途。与此同时，兔八哥（Joe Alaskey 配音）和凯特亦得知了神秘石的消息，面对如此珍宝，他们自然不会善罢甘休。
