For the first time in their decade-long career, Sydney-born siblings Angus and Julia Stone wrote their fourth album together, in the same room, with nobody else around. The result, Snow, is a collection of wise, wispy and remarkably intimate guitar-led musings on relationships and genuine connections. Expanding on their signature delicate sentimentality, Snow grows bigger and more intricate throughout; the bare, acoustic “Nothing Else”, uplifting chords of “Who Do You Think You Are” and raspy blues of “Bloodhound” are among the many moments defining the pair's most accomplished album yet.
