About the Movie
Shelley Long discovers that when the going gets tough, the tough go camping in Troop Beverly Hills, a comedy about lifestyles of the rich and outrageous. Flamboyantly wealthy Phyllis Nefler (Long) has everything money can buy - a drop-dead Beverly Hills mansion, a classic Rolls, furs, jewelry and designer gowns. The one thing she doesn't have is her husband Freddy (Craig T. Nelson), who's leavingher for good. Maybe. Determined to prove she's still the creative, energetic woman Freddy once loved, Phyllis throws luxury to the wind and becomes leader of her daughter's Wilderness Girls troop. 剧情简介
　　住在贝弗利山的贵妇菲丽斯平日养尊处优，靠购物、娱乐消磨时间。她的慵懒和享乐使她和丈夫之间产生了矛盾，眼看婚姻即将走到尽头，为了证明自己并不是依赖他人的寄生虫，菲丽斯报名参加女儿的童子军团，并被录取成为队长。
　　贝弗利山队的队员不是贵族后裔就是明星子女，面对这群难缠的小女孩，菲丽斯费尽心思。她带着女孩们重新裁剪了队服，露营的过程中，为了躲避暴雨她和女孩们住进高档的饭店，还在家中举行聚会招待队员和家长。好在菲丽斯的努力并没有白费，傲慢的女孩们逐渐接受了这个开朗新潮的队长，贝弗利山队也开始变得团结有序。
　　但菲丽斯为了证明自己所做的努力并没有挽救她的爱情，菲丽斯和丈夫的婚姻走到了尽头。在菲丽斯最失忆的时候，女孩们给了她莫大的鼓励，她不再为失败的婚姻感到沮丧，菲丽斯要带领自己的队伍去赢得一年一度的全国童子军大赛的冠军。
　　另一只童子军队伍-红羽毛队的队长也就是童子军团的长官普仑敦把菲丽斯视作自己通向成功的障碍，她费劲心思想把菲丽斯挤出童子军团，同时把自己的下属安排在贝弗利山队做副队长，目的就是抓住菲丽斯的失误然后将她逐出军团。但让普仑敦失望的是，她的下属不但没有帮她找到什么有利的证据，反而和菲丽斯成为了好朋友，并和菲丽斯一起把贝弗利山队带入了童子军大赛。
　　比赛正式开始，普仑敦亲自率领红羽毛队参赛，她为贝弗利山队设下障碍，却反而助贝弗利山队赢得了胜利。普仑敦因为作弊被童子军团开除，菲丽斯在和队员们庆祝胜利的宴会上看到了满面笑容向她走来的丈夫，她知道凭借自己的努力她赢回了已经破碎的婚姻，同时也赢得了他人的尊重。
