Plot Summary

It's almost graduation day for high school seniors Troy, Gabriella Sharpay, Chad, Ryan and Taylor and the thought of heading off in separate directions after leaving East High has them thinking they need to do something they'll remember forever. Together with the rest of the Wildcats, they stage a spring musical reflecting their hopes and fears about the future and their unforgettable experiences growing up together. 剧情简介
　　三年的时间匆匆一过，经历了风风雨雨的特洛伊（扎克·埃夫隆 Zac Efron饰）和女友盖比瑞拉（瓦妮莎·哈金斯 Vanessa Hudgens饰）即将迎来毕业，面临着各奔东西的局面。虽然两人非常希望能够继续在一间大学就读，延续彼此的感情，可惜无论是家人还是自己的志向，让两人产生分歧颇大，免不了争吵。但两人还是决定和野猫队的其他同伴们一起举办一场音乐剧，以此来怀念那些高中的美好时光，并憧憬美好的未来。盖比瑞拉接到的斯坦福大学的荣誉课程通知书，课程的日子正好与毕业舞会的日期相冲突，面对选择，她不知道自己到底该何去何从。特洛伊知道后，虽不愿分离却仍然劝说盖比瑞拉不要放弃这个机会，不要埋没自己的人生。最终盖比瑞拉最终决定离开，而且也没有在毕业舞会的前夕赶回来……
